I'm a Cereal Girl!

This was a big week for Natalie......she had her first taste of rice cereal and she LOVES it. She holds her mouth wide open and moves her whole body toward the spoon. And as you can see she actually prefers to feed herself! I think she wears more of it than she actually eats but dinner time is definitely her new favorite time of the day!

The Entertainer

Natalie has officially become the entertainment of the household! (The cats don't seem to find her all that funny but we sure do). She has us smiling and laughing most of her waking hours. She would roll right out the door if we didn't stop her and she is putting anything and everything into her mouth.....including the post on her bouncy seat that holds the mobile. Speaking of that mobile.....there are three little farm animals that hang from it (a pig, a cow and a lamb). Well, I heard a rip the other morning and she had torn off the pig and was gnawing on him.....we decided it may be time to introduce solid food as we seem to have a hungry girl on our hands.

Cupcake Anyone?

Natalie's had a big week, she rolled over successfully and hasn't stopped rolling since. When she gets to her tummy, she looks up surprised and grinning. She is very proud of herself and surprised at the new view of life. We lay her down and typically within fifteen seconds she has already rolled over. She is also attempting to stick anything and everything into her mouth. Mostly her fingers but she has also attempted her entire hand which then leads to gagging on it. She has also gained more control of her hands and loves to grab a hold of hair. She has quite a grip and doesn't easily let go.

Our Big Girl!

Natalie is growing, growing, growing! At her 4 month check up she weighed in at 15 pounds 9 ounces and is a whopping 26" long.....yes, she takes after her dad! She is all smiles lately and giggles when you tickle her under her arm, pull on her legs when she's lying down and talk to her before bedtime. She wakes up in the morning and just stares at her mobile and talks to herself....so content! She's trying to grasp and touch everything in her reach.....including Scarlet who lost a chunk of her hair when Natalie attempted to "pet" her. She also rolled over the other day for the first time all by herself. She ended up with her arms underneath her belly so she was a little frustrated.....she's tried it again quite a few times but hasn't rolled over completely since. We're sure it will be any day now! We had a really fun Memorial Day weekend with Corey's family. Unfortunately most of the pictures from that weekend were taken by everyone but us so those are still to come. Between Aunt Edie, Aunt Kristen, Aunt Amber, Grandma Betty and Cousin Sara, Natalie never sat anywhere but in a lap for the entire weekend. She loved it and they did too!
