Happy Halloween!
Natalie is a Jack-O-Lantern for her first Halloween.....her new lonely top tooth was the inspiration! I think there are a few of you who are surprised the little goblin actually got a costume.....neither of Natalie's parents are big fans of Halloween....which only means that she will eventually live for this holiday just to torture us!

We wish all of you of a very happy and safe holiday!

BOO!
I think Natalie must be seeing Halloween ghosts lately because she has been giving us the funniest faces! Either that or her inner ham is just emerging! Her after bath hairstyle is compliments of her dad! Oh, and the Flashdance t-shirt look is the result of her new "army crawl scoot"!.....Yes, Natalie is kinda, sorta crawling! She tends to scoot right out of some of her bigger shirts because her belly never leaves the floor!!

Grandmapalooza!
Well, Natalie's month of October continues to be filled with grandmotherly love and attention...Grandma Betty is in town this week and they've been having a lot of fun together. November is going to be a real disappointment for Natalie when she's stuck with only her parents again. We are so thankful for the help of both grandmas this month. We don't know what we'd do without you both!
In other news, Scarlet has become a little more curious and tolerant of Natalie. It could be that she (Scarlet) loves shopping bags so much that she's willing to take her chances within Natalie's reach just to hop in one! I know these two will be great friends one day when Natalie stops pulling tail hair!

Grandma C is in town!
Natalie is a lucky little lady this month. Grandma C is here this week and Grandma Betty comes next week! Can you say spoiled? Well these two are having so much fun together. Grandma loves just about every Natalie activity, from meal times and diaper changings to nap time wake ups and neighborhood walks. What a great week it's been....we don't want to see her go!

The New Door!
Corey replaced our living room door over the weekend and Natalie loves the new view. Now in addition to kitty nose prints on the glass doors in the house we see baby fingerprints, too. Pretty cute. The other pictures show Natalie with sofa pillows piled high on her back......no, she didn't seem to mind.....she kept right on playing as Corey kept piling pillows. She takes playing very seriously and doesn't let much distract her!

Moo Shu Natalie?
For those of you who remember when Charlie had a smaller body and a bigger sense of humor.......Corey used to roll him up in the rug and call him Moo Shu Charlie. His head would stick out one end of the rolled rug and his tail would be twitching out the other end. Well, here we are about 5 years later and Natalie is now rolling herself up in the very same rug! She rolls and rolls and rolls around the house, up and over toys, remote controls, small pillows and piles of laundry, but when she rolls over this rug she insists on taking it with her. She rolls herself up in it and believe it or not it doesn't slow her down much!

8 Months Old Today!
It's hard to believe that Natalie is 8 months old today. She is sitting like a champ....even able to correct herself most of the time when she starts to lean heavily in one direction. She is rolling so proficiently that she may never crawl. Her round little figure works very well for rolling and she can make it across the room in record time! On Saturday night we went to a birthday party and Natalie was really enjoying sitting next to her friend, Kora Battleson (daughter of our friends Jay and Rebecca). As you can see, she was just squealing with delight. Natalie's hat was made by our talented Aunt Karen and she must like it because she doesn't yank it off like she does most hats these days!
Happy 8 month birthday, miss Natalie!
