Biker Babes

These two LOVE their bikes.  Natalie’s on a bike with gears and loving that she can tackle hills and longer rides with Corey.  Audrey is just thrilled to be on a big girl bike so she can go along on the flatter, shorter rides.  They love to bike to our neighborhood elementary school and ride around the big ball field loop.

So sweet to see them go.  I really need to start going with them.  But right now I just like to run inside and catch some quiet time while they’re riding! J

Happy Easter!

We had a really awesome Easter this year.  Fantastic weather allowed for fancy spring dresses (thank you, Grandma Lala!) which is always fun.  And Nana has been here to join us so that's made it all the sweeter.

Of course, the fun started yesterday with the egg dyeing...

And continued today with early  morning Easter baskets...

And the hunt!

Happy Spring!

Sisters

These two are typical sisters.  They play.  They fight.  Most days they can't live without each other.  Other days they can't live with each other.  But all in all they get along really well and spend countless afternoons digging in dirt, inventing things, dressing up, playing school/house/baby/store/art gallery/mermaids/Legos/Barbies, etc., coloring, creating, crafting, cutting and pasting.  And they do a lot of it in this play structure in our backyard.  This thing has been their little haven for almost a year!

I think it was Siblings Day recently and I want to give a shout out to these sweet siblings.  I know I couldn't live without my sister and I hope they feel the same way in 30 years!

Ballet Buddies

Natalie is going strong with her second year of ballet and she really seems to enjoy it.  We're waiting until Audrey is just a little older until we enroll her in her own dance class, but that doesn't stop her from dressing up in the proper ballet attire to take Natalie to class.  As guilty as this should make me feel for not putting Audrey in her own class right now, I'm honestly not sure ballet is her speed.  I think this kid is going to need something with a little more kick where she can let her hair down!

Currently, she spends the 45 minutes that Natalie is in class with the other little sisters in the lobby of the rec center, singing, running, twirling, jumping, running, running, hiding, laughing, screaming, squealing, running and snacking.  And having a great time!
