My Classroom

I've had a blast teaching preschool this year.  I loved the kids, my co-teacher, my school, and, of course, my teacher schedule (home by 3pm most days and off on every holiday...bliss!).  We had a school art show this month and it was so fun to showcase the kids' work and growth this year.  I knew when my kids left preschool that I was far sadder than they were.  So I went back and I'm so happy I did!!

Backyard Buddies

We do a date night babysitting swap with some good friends of ours and it works perfectly because our kids play so beautifully together.  I love seeing these four chatting and eating together.

Happy Easter!

It was a bit of a cool, drizzly Easter morning.  The kind of morning that calls for sundresses, with jackets and rain boots.  The drippy weather didn't dampen the fun, however, and the girls found all their eggs.  I had to include both pictures here because Natalie has a better smile in the first picture and Audrey has a better smile in the second picture.  If I had Photoshop skills I could have put them to good use!

Hearst Castle!

Hearst Castle has been our bucket list since we moved to California...5 years ago!!  We finally made it.  We loved touring the grounds and the house but probably had the most fun at the seashore just outside our hotel door.
