Cookie Time!

After years of going door to door with Natalie as she sold Girl Scout cookies every February and playing under, on, and around the table at every booth sale her big sister worked, Audrey finally got to be the sales person at a cookie booth this year with her very own Daisy troop.  These first graders did a great job...they are very hard to say no to, what with their toothless smiles and all.  So cute!

Father Daughter Dance

Once again, Corey got to head to the Girl Scout Father Daughter Dance with a lovely dame on each arm.  The theme was Hollywood red carpet so they wore pink feather boas that good friends gave us years ago.

 I got a call about halfway through the dance that Audrey had lost a tooth on the dance floor and was a little shaken up.  Poor Audrey.  The tooth was wiggly but not that wiggly and it had somehow clipped on Corey's jean pocket while they were on the dance floor and came out a little early!  I collected her from the dance and we went home and iced it for a bit.  She recovered quickly and now has a fun story to tell about how she lost her THIRD tooth!

Happy Birthday, Natalie

I've fallen a bit behind on the blog these past months.  Returning to work has been a bit of a shock to the system and my time at the home computer is slim to none these days.  That said, life hasn't stopped being busy.  It's probably been busier than ever.

The last weekend of January Natalie celebrated her birthday with a small dinner party at home.  She wanted her besties over for burgers so we opened the Brooks Burger Bistro and celebrated.  The girls showed up in their pjs, played games, painted  mason jar cups to use and take home, and enjoyed dinner and an ice cream sundae bar for dessert.  Such a fun night.

It's hard to believe this blonde, brainy beauty is 10!!
