About those cheeks......
All this time we've thought that Natalie's chipmunk cheeks were just for looks.....well, it turns out they store little treats for later. A few times throughout the day I'll notice her lips tightly closed and a very mischievous look on her face.....that is an unmistakable sign that she has something in her mouth she's not supposed to have. The other day (after noticing the clues) I did my sweep of her mouth with my finger to discover the three items pictured below.....a leaf, a stem from a pear and a paperclip! Good grief! As I recovered each item in disbelief I put the soggy treasures onto the counter. Corey said, "you've got to get a picture of that." So I did. There is no telling how long they'd been in there. Needless to say I check her mouth a little more often these days. And now we know why those cheeks are so plump!

Such a deviant little look on her face! She's turned into the "human vacuum cleaner" like most children her age! It will probably get worse before it gets better! Watch out Charlie and Scarlet!

I love your blog! Your stories and pics always leave me smiling! What a cutie pie Natalie is! That's hilarious about all the "snacks" she was stockpiling! We had a great time at her first bday party!
