We took Grandma Betty to the airport today and it wasn't fun. When Natalie realized she wasn't getting back in the car, she started holding her arms out and crying...while buckled into her car seat. It was heartbreaking! She finally stopped screaming and cracked a smile on the way home after my 7th, off-key, raspy, totally made-up verse of "Wheels on the Bus".
She became so attached to Betty this trip that Corey and I were a little concerned she would tuck herself in Grandma's suitcase and head to Michigan. The frightening part is, we're not sure Grandma would have reported the luggage discovery until she'd had a few more weeks with Natalie!
Thank you, Grandma, for a wonderful week. We miss you!

On one of their daily walks
Grandma learned this can go on for HOURS!
...and even needed to taste it!
I don't think there are any current self esteem problems with this kid!
Hopefully, we can keep it that way.

Pretty darn PRECIOUS as always!! What a lucky little girl to have so many people in love with her!And yes, anyone who messes with Natalie's self-esteem will have "hell to pay" from BOTH grandmas!
Love you all!
