So, for the first time in one whole month we were on our own yesterday as a family of four. We did fine the first day. We did quite well, actually. We even did laundry and managed to make a decent dinner. We sure enjoyed the extra help during this time of transition, but I think we can do this on our own now. Of course, we're not going to argue if the grandmas (or the aunts) want to come back for another extended stay!

I just have a few word choice comments to address:
"Decent" is awfully generous. (But it was dinner, so I'm not complaining--even though I did:). What's on the menu for tonight? :)
And, I like how Aunt Kristin came to "help" and Aunt Ashley came to "visit." :)
What a fun time for all! And of course you can do it on your own!! You're both amazing parents and Natalie is such a huge help! Have fun and enjoy every moment!
Oh I just love seeing all that dark hair! She is so adorable.
And OH MY Natalie is getting so SO grown up!
We cannot wait to see you in November, I hope you will be in town around Thanksgiving (and by then I should be able to show off a nice round belly myself!)
