Pumpkin Patch

We visited the pumpkin patch a few days before Halloween. Actually, for the second year in a row, we just went to a really nice nursery a few miles away and called it a pumpkin patch. We know we won't get away with this for much longer, but Natalie is so crazy about flowers that she prefers to look at those anyway...and a nice, shady nursery with an irrigation system and occasional puddles is much more comfortable when you're selecting pumpkins in 90 degree heat.
Nana was with us (future post to come about her wonderful visit) and that made it even better.

I wonder if Natalie will notice that this nursery is also the Christmas Tree Farm come December.

Natalie was more excited to pose with these flowers that she found on the ground than she was to pose with the pumpkins.

Drawing her jack o'lantern face. She did not understand why Corey couldn't carve it EXACTLY as she drew it.

I love this Natalie face as she scooped the pumpkin guts. Classic.
