We finished packing up everything late last Wednesday night, the moving truck came bright and early Thursday, we were lovingly welcomed and fed at Aunt Ashley and Paul's house Thursday night, finished the last of the car packing on Friday morning, drove as far as Palm Springs on Friday night where we were, again, lovingly welcomed and fed by Papa Rod, Grandma Lala and good friends, Doug and Donna, and then drove the rest of the way to the Bay Area all day Saturday. 16 total hours of driving thanks to random delays and a needy two year old. We're STILL waiting on our stuff so we've been in two hotels in two different cities since we arrived last Saturday. And by "we" I mean, of course, the four of us PLUS the cat PLUS a very patient, flexible, saint of a Nana who's along for this crazy ride!
But all the moving craziness aside, we're really loving our new town. Will post more pics soon.
