Natalie has completed her second year of ballet and she's still really loving it. She had a recital last week and looked so poised and lovely up on that stage. It was so exciting to watch her. She had considered quitting earlier this year when a very serious (but incredibly talented) Ukrainian ballerina took over her class after her very sweet (and incredibly pregnant) American teacher left for maternity leave. It took Natalie a few months to get used to this new teaching style and expectation but she learned so much and we're so thrilled she stuck with it. She now comments on Corey and my slouched posture and says, "my ballet teacher says good apostrophe is the most important thing and you are both slouching.'' Apostrophe. Love it.

She's danced this year with her good friend, Brooklynne, and I know that's made it even more fun for her. It's also made the weekly practice classes more fun for Audrey as Brooklynne's little sister, Chloe, is one of Audrey's very best friends. The little sisters were very excited to watch big sisters up on stage. For about 15 minutes of the hour long show...it got a little hairy after that.
Such a supportive little sister.
The little sister spectators (friend Chloe)
The big sisters ballerinas (friend Brooklynne)
This kid has star written all over her!
