Natalie just wrapped up a production of the Lion King Jr., the 4th and 5th grade production at her school this year. She worked so hard memorizing lines and rehearsing almost every day for over two months. At times she came home humming and singing and dancing and talking all about it. Other times she came home crying and wanting to quit because it was taking so much time. She really got a taste of what being a part of a theater production was like and it taught her so much. It was a big commitment but she stuck with it and shined opening night and during the three shows that followed. We are so proud of her. She was a lioness during most of the show and a comic relief vulture (with lines!) at the beginning of the second act. Such a fun weekend watching her and her friends perform a really awesome show!
We took our good friends, Sydney and Kira, to the last show and Natalie stood taller and talked louder that night knowing they were in the audience.
And, of course, her biggest fan.
I think Audrey had all of Natalie's lines
memorized as well as half the songs in the
production. Such a supportive little sis.
With a very funky loose tooth smile!
