I cannot believe we pulled it off, but we did. With just under two weeks of planning time and family members living in 4 different cities within 3 different states, we managed to throw a baby shower for Auntie Ashley with most of the family in attendance. We very much missed GGMa, GGPa and Aunt Karen who weren’t able to come at the last minute, but they had their car packed and ready to go before having to cancel their trip, for crying out loud, so they were practically here, too!!! Ashley and Grandma Lala came into town a few days before the shower and we cooked and cleaned and decorated and then Aunt Jackie, cousins Aimee, Emma, Jamie, Reese, June and baby Jace showed up and we talked and ate and laughed and ate some more! It was such a great day and weekend!

This baby has made her quite nauseous, even into her third trimester,
so we’ve decided he owes it to her to be a
VERY good baby, toddler and teenager to make up for it!
