Honeybirds

After hanging numerous feeders throughout the backyard and keeping the sugar cocktail in each of them well stocked, we've attracted a nice variety of hummingbirds. Natalie calls them "honeybirds" and loves to watch them, read about them, talk about them and imagine she can snuggle them (wouldn't that be a sight!!).

We went to the zoo last week and she begged to ride the carousel. It's no surprise what animal she wanted to climb on...the giant "honeybird"! The hummingbird pictures below are courtesy of Aunt Kristen who had the patience and the camera capable of capturing these busy little visitors.
