I'm not sure if Natalie would feel quite so big if we didn't have a baby in the house for comparison, but she is seeming ultra mature these days. The other day she was looking at a container of baby snacks and she said, "that container has so many lovely images on it." I had to agree...it was a very pretty container. Then, the other day she asked why I don't grow taller anymore. I told her when you get older you stop growing. She said, "so, daddies grow really large and mommies just grow to be medium size?" I told her that she just happens to have a really tall daddy and that some daddies are just medium sized, too! And then today on the way to school she asked if we could buy a car without a lid. When I asked her to clarify what "without a lid" meant she said, "you know, like the Berenstain bears have." They have a convertible car. I told her maybe someday. Corey, however, was looking online for convertibles before I finished telling him the story!
