Snowy Spring

Happy Birthday, lovely lady!

The day after Easter, Lala, the girls and I packed up (and bundled up) and headed to Reno to spend a few days with GGMa.  In true Sierra Nevada fashion, we had to drive on certain days to avoid a spring snowstorm on the summit.  Someday Reno will have a lovely 70 degree Easter.  Someday.  But not this year!

As always, it was awesome hanging out with GGMa.  She continues to amaze me.  She looks great. She feels good.  And she wears cuter, trendier shoes than I do.  The girls absolutely LOVE being at her house:  there are abundant treasures to be found, two rambunctious kitties to play with and, discovered during this trip, 50 year old Barbie and Ken dolls to dress and re-dress.
