It's been a while since I've posted because we've been busy bees around here. We moved to another condo for the summer months and our life was disrupted in all the ways that a move disrupts (days without Internet, toddler that won't sleep, can't find the cell phone charger, etc.). This condo belongs to an old friend of mine who heads to cooler country for the summer. Smart woman. It's already been 100 degrees here for a steady week and a half. It's beautifully furnished (which we're loving after 9 months "relaxing" on patio furniture), has a working grill (we've missed grilling so much as our BBQ is keeping our sofa company in storage) and access to a beautiful pool (that's a selling point for us as our old condo pool looked like this last week and isn't expected to look any different until the end of June).
Great timing for pool renovation, don't you think? Good grief.
In Natalie news, all is well. She's gone almost 6 weeks without sucking her thumb and I can already see a difference in her front teeth. (Thank you, Aim, Mark and Catie for your encouragement). She's obsessed with band aids (I think I need to stop buying the Hello Kitty ones) and wants one for every little scratch, bump or imaginary ailment. She brings Corey a swimmy diaper when we're on our way to the pool (for him to put on, of course, because she's already wearing one). And she's in love with accessorizing like never before. The only pictures I've taken in the past week are of Natalie modeling her flair for fashion. As I sit here writing this post, she's behind me combing my hair and adding bow clips of all shapes and sizes.
The store manager was the only one who didn't think this was funny.

You've gotta give the girl credit...she always tries to match.

I am SO curious as to whose open-toed red high heels those are; I KNOW they do NOT belong to her mother! :)
OH man she looks so cute and I love that little dress she is wearing! Adorable! Enjoy the furniture, I can't believe you made it this long, I would have been stopping by my storage unit daily!
Hurray for Natalie!!! and for her mommy and Daddy who had just as hard giving up the thumb! So glad your in slightly more comfortable surroundings, you guys are troopers, I never would have survived this long the way you have without my stuff. Be sure to post pics of your new digs!
